Abstract

The utility model relates to a damper brake for elevators, which comprises a brake shoe and a friction layer. The brake shoe comprises two opposite supporting sheets and a brake sheet arranged between the supporting sheets and perpendicular to the supporting sheets, and the friction layer is fixed to the bottom of the arched brake sheet. The brake sheet at the bottom of the brake shoe is designed into an arch shape, impact force can be dispersed by means of the damper brake in operation, and thereby impact force felt by passengers in an elevator can be reduced in elevator braking. The friction layer is a rubber layer, so that impact force in elevator braking can be buffered to the greatest extent. Safety and comfort of passengers in the elevator are both considered in elevator braking, and the damper brake is suitable for being widely used in elevators.
